You know what surprises me? That it’s taken this long for a major falling out between Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian. I think Rob and Chyna were united against his family in the beginning, and the fact that Khloe and some of the other sisters were “against” this relationship actually made Rob and Chyna stronger. They had a common enemy. But time passed and it seems like the Kardashian-Jenners have come around, or at least come around publicly. And if that was a Kardashian-Jenner strategy, it was the right one: don’t make it us-versus-them, just accept them as a couple and let nature take its course. So now that Chyna and Rob don’t have a common enemy, what is there to do? What’s the point? So of course they had some kind of blowout.
First, Rob “unfollowed” Chyna on Instagram, and he deleted all of the photos of her too. That’s the 2016-version of “taking off your engagement ring” in my kidz-to-Kaiser-speak translator. Just a week ago, he had been gushing about Chyna and her pregnancy, so it was definitely something, and something very recent. The Mirror reported that Rob “discovered suspicious messages on her phone,” and they had some kind of big blowout, and that’s why he deleted everything, because he was mad. But don’t think that Chyna and Rob are completely over! They’re just going through a rough patch, apparently.
Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s relationship has hit a bump in the road, but that doesn’t mean it’s coming to a stop. The 29-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star overhauled his Instagram account Monday and deleted all traces of his fiancé, even unfollowing her account briefly before following her again. But according to an insider, the pair haven’t split – they’ve just hit a rough patch while filming their reality show.
“They filmed over the weekend and had an argument,” the source tells PEOPLE. “Rob tends to blow up and react very fast. … They have rushed their relationship so much.”
“They are both very excited about the baby,” continues the source, so “it’s hard to see Rob and Chyna actually splitting. Rob is looking forward to becoming a dad. It would take a lot for him to break up with her.”
Yeah, breaking up with your pregnant fiancée is pretty bad. I don’t care what kind of fight it was or how bad it got, you don’t dump your pregnant fiancée/girlfriend unless you want to look like the biggest douche in the world (in the gossip world, this is known as “the Billy Crudup move”). Rob sounds pretty temperamental, and now I’m wondering if he really did find “suspicious messages” on Chyna’s phone. Hmm…
